  17. Installation Instructions
  18. 1. Make sure AppleTalk is turned off.
  19. 2. Double-click this installer.
  20. 3. Read the startup text and license agreement.
  21. 4. For first-time installation, choose the Standard install.
  22. 5. Read the 'QuickStart' launched at the end of the installer.  It describes how to do common operations such as opening and playing a Voodoo file, importing an audio sample, or importing a MIDI file.
  23. 6. At the end of the installation, the 'Voodoo Authorizer' application will run.  To upgrade to a full version, get a registration number from BitHeadz.  Enter your registration number and press 'Register'.  You can register via email or fax.  BitHeadz will return a response code that you can enter into the 'Voodoo Authorizer'.

  26. Demo Limitations
  27. The save and record to disk are disabled.  Not all of the factory kits, stationery, themez, and samples are included.  The demo will time out in one month or twenty uses.

  29. For Owners Of BitHeadz' Unity DS-1
  30. Voodoo 1.2.0 uses Unity DS-1 2.0.1 as its foundation.  The Voodoo installer already installs what is necessary, but if your already have Unity DS-1 installed, you will first need to update before you install Voodoo.  Download the latest updater for the Unity DS-1 2.0.1 from www.bitheadz.com.
